The client:

Content Honey are content marketing experts whose mission is to provide sweet inspiration and B2B marketing services to companies determined to be outstanding. ‘Queen Bee’ Julie Roberts and her army of ‘worker bees’ produce engaging and memorable content that is needed to generate a buzz.

The brief:

Julie is going to be speaking at Barnsley-based financial management company Lifetime’s ‘Barnsley Businesses Inspiring Students’. It promises to be an inspiring event all about giving positive messages to local students, about living and working in and around our community. Julie asked me to help her create an alternative to a standard text biography for the speakers intro page on the event website which would make her stand out and inspire students.

The project:

VisualManifesto_AWJulie had the idea of creating a Content Honey manifesto and wanted to mix text and images to create a busy, informative and inspiring visual. Julie had seen a style she liked, but it wasn’t in line with the Content Honey brand so I worked with her to ensure that the messages were easily legible and it was consistent with the business identity. From top to bottom, readers get an uplifting trip through Julie’s rules for business and life!
I think this would be lovely to have on your office wall to keep you in check day-to-day!

What the client said:

“When I was invited to become a speaker, I was asked to supply a headshot and bio. I felt like I wanted to impart the life advice that feels most relevant to me now rather than the dusty details of days gone by. I’ll go over my history in the talk but it would have just been repetition of a traditional style bio.

I was inspired by the visual manifesto Chris Brogan did to promote his book “The Freaks Shall Inherit The Earth”. I tried to produce my own in Canva but knew it wasn’t very clever design-wise and didn’t fit with my Content Honey branding. knew I was out of my depth and Steph came to the rescue. I am absolutely delighted with the end result.”
